The purpose of the Competition - is to identify and support young researchers in institutional and evolutionary economics.
We are looking for unpublished manuscripts on institutional and evolutionary economics that are authored individually or collaboratively. We welcome the submission of papers on the topic of the School “Economy of the New World Order: Challenges for Russia”, as well as on other issues.
Submissions will be examined and assessed by the Competition Committee of the School (the Committee Members)
Selected participants of the Competition will be invited to take part in discussions held by the School. Accommodation and catering will be provided, as well as the opportunity to participate in all activities of the School in accordance with its Agenda.
As a result of the discussion, the best reports of the School will be selected. The winners will be awarded diplomas. Additionally, the works of the winners of the Competition will be recommended for publication in the journals Economy of regions and/or AlterEconomics. To prepare manuscripts for publication, the winners of the Competition will be assigned mentors from lecturers and speakers of the School.
SUBMISSION PROCESS
1. Applications for participation in the Competition are submitted through the registration form of the School participant on the website https://ie-school.ru, projects are accepted via e-mail ie-school@uiec.ru
2. Each participant can submit to the Competition only one manuscript (authored individually or collaboratively).
3. The following documents should be submitted for participation in the Competition:
title page and abstract, which includes: title of the work; name of the author(s); affiliation of the author(s); detailed abstract (2-3 pages; font TNR 12 pp; single spacing; margins: 2,5 cm, 2 cm, 2 cm, 2 cm). The abstract indicates: the relevance and novelty of the study; the purpose of the article; main tasks solved in the research and findings; the scope and practical application of scientific results for the development of science, education and technology;
manuscript – scientific research (up to 25 pages; font TNR 12 pp; single spacing; margins: 2,5 cm, 2 cm, 2 cm, 2 cm);
statement expressing the wish of the author(s) to participate in the Competition; acceptance of the terms of the Competition; consent of the author(s) to the use of personal data for the purposes of the Competition; the statement should be signed by the author(s);
application form that includes information about the author(s): contact details (work and cell phone numbers, e-mail); date of birth; place of work (affiliation) and position; additional information (grant leadership or participation, scientific competition wins, scientific awards, conference reports, supervision of theses);
list of publications of the author(s), if available, for the last 5 years, no more than 10 works, indicating the exact output of articles and monographs.
The evaluation of the submissionsto the Competition will be finished by August 15, 2024.
The results of the Competition will be announced by September 1, 2024.
Authors of the best works will be invited to present at the 9th All-Russian School for Young Researchers in Institutional and Evolutionary Economics, October 3-5, Ekaterinburg.
Winners of the Young Researchers Competition will be awarded their diplomas on the final day of the School.
The results of the Competition will be published on the website of the School and on the websites of its co-organizers –Institute of Economics of RAS, Institute of Economics of the Ural Branch of RAS and Ural Federal University.
